You could need a CCTV drain inspection if you have recurring persistent drainage problems.

If you notice an issue, perhaps a foul smell, slow drainage or there could be a blockage, then a CCTV drain survey can identify the problem.

We carry out CCTV Drain Surveys for commercial and residential properties.

A drain survey is an in-depth inspection of your drainage system, using our high-tech CCTV cameras which are inserted into your drains. It is a quick cost-effective way to identify numerous problems.

Using our state-of-the-art CCTV drain camera system, a detailed Survey can be undertaken to investigate the condition of drains, identifying any problems that might be present.  These problems can range from fractures, collapses, roots, debris, fatty deposits, scaling etc as well as the condition of the joints.

From the survey we can see exactly what is wrong, and work out the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective way to rectify the issue.

The CCTV footage is recorded live and a report is available to you within a day or two after the survey is completed.

Look See Inspection

Exactly what it is says. We look in the drain with our cameras to identify problems.  This service is not recorded.

Rodent Issues

A CCTV drain survey can identify cracks, displaced joints, holes & redundant drains which allow access to rodents.  Rodents cause blockages by burrowing into the drain.  If you have a problem with a smell this could be caused by a dead rat.  A camera survey will allow us to find and fix any issues.

Building Work

If you are carrying out any building work, perhaps an extension, conservatory or garage etc, a CCTV drain survey will allow us to see the condition of the drains before work begins, the exact location size and depth of any pipework.

We always recommend that you have a CCTV survey before & after you have any work carried out.

Home Buyer/Seller Surveys

If you are purchasing a property it is a good idea to check the condition of the drainage system beforehand.

A pre purchase survey is recommended and could save you money in the long run. Without one there might be serious problems that not noticeable from a visual inspection.

A fault in the drainage system can be expensive to sort out after a purchase goes through.

Surveys do not take too long to carry out and if a problem is found, it might give you a chance to negotiate on the price of the property!

A standard building surveyor will only visually inspect building to check that the property is structurally sound.

When it comes to the drains, the surveyor will only lift the drain covers to inspect the condition of the manhole, but they are not able to see if there are any defects within the drainage system below ground.

Without a survey there could be several problems within the drainage system including blockages, bad pipe work, fractures, collapsed pipes or displaced joints and root intrusions, which could lead to further problems in the future costing lots of money.

We can carry out CCTV drain surveys for commercial and residential properties.
